DRILL 1
STANDING BACK HANDSPRING FROM TRAMPETTE, BOUNCE TO INCLINE
This drill is mostly a preparatory drill before adding on the next Back handspring.
FOCUS POINTS
A
Focus on getting the straight legs in under the upper body.
B
The arms should be down by the legs, so the gymnast almost has a 90° angle in the hips.

DRILL 2
STANDING BACK HANDSPRING DOWN INCLINE
In this drill the gymnast can focus on getting their legs back in under themself.
FOCUS POINTS
A
Focus on getting straight legs tuck in under the upper body.
B
Arms should be by the legs, by doing so will force the gymnast to almost have a 90° angle in the hips.

DRILL 3
STANDING 2 X BACK HANDSPRINGS FROM TRAMPETTE ON AIRTRACK
The drill makes sure that the gymnast can focus on a good transition between the two Back handsprings.
FOCUS POINTS
A1
Straight legs in the transition.
A2
Arms pulls down to the side of the legs after the first back handspring before pulling to the next.

STANDING 2 X BACK HANDSPRING DOWN INCLINE
The drill removes as many elements as possible so that the gymnast can focus on getting their legs back in under themself.
FOCUS POINTS

Arms are pressed towards the knees after the first back handspring before pulling into the next.
