DRILL 1
CARTWHEEL AGAINST WALL
The focus for the drill is to teach the gymnast how to place the hands in the Roundoff.
FOCUS POINTS
A
The arms must be straight and right by the ears during the skill.

The arm on the side of the primary leg should point away from the wall.

B2
The opposite hand should point back in the direction where the gymnast started.
PREREQUISITES

DRILL 2
1/2 TWIST TO HANDSTAND
This drill primarily focuses on getting the legs back together as soon as possible after the starting phase.
FOCUS POINTS
A1
The feet should hit the mat almost simultaneously.
A2
Keep the body in a hollow position while hitting the mat.
EQUIPMENT

DRILL 3
HANDSTAND TO KORBET
The drill focuses on the korbet in the end of the Roundoff.
FOCUS POINTS
A
Arms must cover the ears so they follow each other during the entire drill.

Keep the shoulders raised while in the handstand.

C
While transitioning through vertical, move from the arched position to the hollow. At the end of the drill use the hip flexors to create a narrower hip angle.

DRILL 4
HANDSTAND TO KORBET INTO C-POSITION AGAINST WALL
This drill teaches the gymnast to pull their legs in at the end-phase of the Roundoff.
FOCUS POINTS
A
The hands slide off the running block and are pressed down towards the shins.
B
The feet are in front of the body and the upper body folded in.

DRILL 5
ROUNDOFF AGAINST WALL INTO C-POSITION
This drill combines the Roundoff with the Hurdle. The height difference from the running block to the landing mat gives the gymnast more time to complete the korbet.
FOCUS POINTS
A
The hands should slide off the running block and towards the shins.

While the gymnast is sitting against the wall, their body should almost be folded in.
